Here is a $.25 Fenton Glass milk glass nappy in the Block and Star pattern that measures 5 1/2" l x 4 1/2" w x 2 1/8" h. This was another part of my effort to increase my total purchase enough to use my credit card today. It is mint, but not marked and does not have a Fenton label. I did not have one of these and it is pretty small, so won't take up much space.

I believe your bon bon was made by Fenton Glass. The pattern is known as “block and star.” Timeframe would be 1955 - 58.

Thanks TimeTraveller! I believe you are right , based on a bit more research.

This is a reproduction of Hobbs Brockunier #330; AKA: Hobbs' Block (no stars in that pattern). Hobbs Brockunier also made a companion pattern #327 called 'Quartered Block and Star' which has stars and the big blocks are quartered. Also, the pattern is sometimes confused with the similar 'Old Quilt' pattern by Westmoreland.

You’re welcome, kwqd. I’ve always wanted to add the “block and star” pattern to my collection, but you don’t see them too much. Nice buy at 25 cents!!
