    Hi CW Gang:

Vintage Harness Racing Brooch. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. I worked in the Horse Racing Industry for over 20 years and I loved harness Racing over thouroughbred racing. Harness racing is MUCH easier to handicap !! Anyhow, I guess I now have a collectio of Gerry's jewelry as I think this is my 3 or 4 th piece. Mint shape........and the little wheel even SPINS !!

***Gotta get going here - Thunder and lighting - Storm coming !!

Thanks for LOOKING // LOVING !!

    Gerry’s costume jewellery

[Quoted] """ History of Gerry’s Creations began with Geraldine Giles in 1950. As established in the peak of the popularity of costume jewelry, Gerry’s Creations have been able to stay on the market for more than 40 years. The main direction, familiar to most collectors of this brand, were Christmas brooches, many of which are included in the costume jewellery catalogs. In addition, among collectors are very popular brooches with the image of animals, birds, butterflies and flowers. Gerry’s was also famous for themed brooches, for example sport series – tennis rackets, bowling, etc., but they are particularly rare. The company ceased operations in 1996. Gerry’s costume jewellery is rare, their antique brooches are for those collectors who love and appreciate jewelry with history.""[End of quote]

These jockeys and horse racing were very popular in the early 60's, we had a clock for our t.v. that was so similar to this.
