A General Electric fan I found on eBay several years ago for a reasonable price. I had a new cord put on as a safety precaution and it runs and cools like new. The paint is in generally great condition and shows only minor wear. My grandparents had one that was identical to it, giving it sentimental value for me. I believe 1932 is a date I saw once online for this style fan. If any of you fan authorities know for sure, I’d like to get more information on it. Thanks.

Yes 1932 sounds about right. Later in the 1930s GE went with wider fan blades and the vortalex series.

Thanks fortapache for the info. Do you know if these require oil and other types of maintenance? It runs like new now and doesn’t get a lot of use but I want to keep it in good condition.
