While attending a convention, there was a table that someone had placed a lot of books on, with a sign reading, FREE, PLEASE TAKE ALL YOU WANT. I scanned over the table and picked up 4-5. This one, which I thought was a book on wildlife was in fact a portfolio containing twelve pencilpoint or charcoal wildlife, unsigned prints, 9"x12", printed on heavy textured mat paper, by Dan Feaser . On the reverse side of each print was a description of each drawing. This portfolio was copyrighted in 1972 by Harpers Ferry Historical Association and produced by Museum Press Inc., Washington, D.C.
Inside of the cover is a bio of Dan Feaser:
Dan Feaser is a Pennsylvanian who after WWII moved to Flordia, where he was Art Director for a large department store and advertising agency. He joined the National Park Service in 1957 and has been working in its Division of Museums ever since. As an illustrator-designer, Mr. Feaser's work appears in many of the Park Service areas, both in the visitor center museums and in trailside exhibits. He has illustrated four Harold L. Peterson books and has exhibited art at the University of Minnesota. His wildlife paintings have appeared on four covers of Virginia Wildlife, a Game Commission monthly publication put out by the State of Virginia. He presently with his family in Shepherdstown, West Virginian a restored log cabin where he spends most of his spare time doing wildlife art.

I've seen all these animals in the wild. The Rockies are so beautiful as well as the animals. Great artwork!
