A Great Sunday To You At 7:04 a.m. Alabama Central Time!!

Here At CW, I enjoy so many Of your Collections, and Though they may be different than My Collection, I have the upmost respect for what it takes to build one..The time and effort and at times, 'Blood, Sweat And Tears'
So..I have decided to pay Tribute with items, that I hope, go along with what you do that brings Me that Enjoyment!
And Today, I will bring tribute to whom I've considered to be 'CWs Automobile Mechanic'...Officialfuel....whom has, as most of Us know, has many fine items related to the Automobile..As do some of you!!

This defunct 1939 Plymouth Chrysler, sits outside of a vacant, depleted building across from our very small Library here in Coffeeville, Ala...Pop. 348, of which I live outside of down the way a piece.
Yesterday, I purchased the depleted building and the parcel it sits on and this 89 Year old antique came with it...
I cannot lift the hood just yet, it is Jammed up and actually, the whole car has seen its share of use!!
I am not in anyway gifted with the knowledge of Autos..and I was hoping you all could 'Fill Me Up' with some details on this one.
Plymouth was founded under the Chrysler Corporation, by, Walker Chrysler, in 1928..eleven years later, This model was introduced.
Now...Be on the Lookout...Your Collection could be next!!

Thank You And Have A Blessed Day!!

Historical marker detailing Mitcham Beat and the Mitchum War. near McEntyre, Alabama.
The Mitcham War was a bloody conflict that occurred in Clarke County, Alabama in the early 1890s.

The conflict was between rural farmers in remote section of Clarke County named Mitcham Beat and merchants in Coffeeville and other towns near the Mitcham Beat. Some accounts characterize the conflict as resulting from the 1892 elections that left rural whites disenfranchised and angry and resulting in racial violence.

Around 1890, a group of young rural men formed a secret society called "Hell-at-the-Breech" that believed their local economy was being controlled by a small group. On December 25, 1892, the gang entered Coffeeville and murdered a prominent businessman.

Soon a vigilante mob of 500 formed to seek the Hell-at-the-Breech murderers, and eventually killed 5 men.

Different sources have the violence continuing until fall of 1893 after the Hell-at-the-breech disbanded] or when the mob of Clarke County men publicly shot a prominent member of the Hell-at-the-Breech gang

I do know...An 1802 marker..just on My road tells of the area of 'Mitchum' known as West Bend Area...the road I live on that's on the map..8 miles out.
The marker lists the first descendants of area...I live in the remotest part of Alabama....Coffeeville was not incorporated until the John Coffee...not long after..the Mayor and others in standing were arrested for killing...during the 1800s..plantations and cotton right here as far as the eye can to Choctaw County line..some Indian battles there.
Next to 'Tombigbee''s flow is Southward and meets the Alabama river North of Mobile to form the Mobile river..then into the Gulf Of Mexico...The biggest towns in Clarke Co., are Jackson and Thomasville.
In in between them. 30 miles each town..closest hospital..or anything..but I wanted it...and it is coming My Friend..something Wonderful...
      Peace and Prosperity...

      They were Doolin
      High or low
      It was the same
      Easy Money
      And faithless women
      Redeye whiskey for the pain

Go down Bill Dalton it must
      Be God’s will
      Two brothers lying dead in

Two voices call to you from
      Where they stood
Lay down your law books now they’re
      No damn good

      You better keep on moving
Until your shadow sets you free
      If you’re fast
      And if you’re lucky
You will never see the hanging tree

The towns lay out across the dusty plains
      Like graveyards filled with tombstones
      Waiting for their names
Dealing death some men found their fame
Some just went stir crazy Lord, cuz nothing ever changed

      Until Bill Doolin
      Met Bill Dalton
      He was working cheap
      Just biding time
Then smiled and said I’m going
As he left his peaceful life behind

We live in the big city of Houston and look forward to going on road trips just to see stuff like this sitting out on a lot in a small town. It has great value to us who pass by your property and dream of living on your side of the fence. I would just love to step in some cow manure while fighting a big bass in an old tank again. You should be proud to be where you are today, congratulations.
    38. Brunswick Brunswick, 6 months ago
TreasureTex, Hello! What a fine compliment!! I do love it! It gives me animosity in what I do. I was raised in the North in the city, so down here took some adjustment. Thank you again!!
