One you don’t see too often is the 500 Platolene tin sign. This was found yesterday also at the estate sale in Terre Haute, Indiana. Platolene 500 items are hard to fine. The gentleman was a banker and had an extensive collection of cars and 500 Platolene memorabilia. The sign is dated 11-55. This sign will look nice with my Platolene 500 gas pump. I was happy to get one of the signs and put it in my collection. The sign will be 63 years old in November and I will be 63 in August. 1955 was a good year! :-)
