Not sure what i have would like to know if what i have is worth keeping or putting time and effort in to learning more to be able to know if i would like playing

Find out how old it is and what its made of. Look for any labels, any serial numbers signatures etc. Nowadays you can put anything on eBay at a starting price and it will find its value at no cost to the seller.
