A classic casting of a classic car, a somewhat customized version. This is perhaps the most classic version. Note it was not a sports car but a 2 seater luxury car. An argument can be made for the early 1960s version being the best. The 1970 land yacht not so much.
The custom touches are the cut down windshield and the raised hood scoop. The flower decals were sold with many Hot Wheels cars. If I could go back in a time machine I would have stopped them from doing that. I like the sponsor decals but these need to be removed. I think the flowers came with the Beach Bomb, Nomad and Sand Crab. Luckily the model isn't mint. Still looks pretty good I think still.
Never seen this Hot Wheel before. I think the '63 T-Bird had the rear seat "tonneau" cover to give the two seater look. There is a Elvis movie with one in it. I'm pretty sure James Best was in it. I
