    My uncle was stationed in Japan after WWII. He and my aunt bought these. About all I can remember is that they were made from bottles. I love these fish!

      These green glass fish are so unique and lovely! They are so beautifully formed from bottles, you can see the mouth shape was the bottle base. Very nice post

      These are really interesting for me!
      I would think they are Ryukyu Glass, from Okinawa.
      Very cool.

      Thank you racer4four but I just discovered that Ryukyu Glass Village opened in 1985. Way beyond post-WWII. But they have nice products. Thanks.
