Need a bit of help with this one. It's what I think is an ivory charoote cutter. It also has a triangular tablet on its neck and also a number around the base of the neck. Also on the cutter bit is a makers name and Sheffield steel on it. Please help with any info you have. Neil

Hey Neil, I didn't know a cigar cutter was called a Cheroot Cutter, but here's a link to a site that might be able to help with this one:

Good luck, I hope this helps! :^)

Hi Bill, I did see he mentions a charoot/cigar cutter but I think it's only because a cigar is normally too big to fit in the hole but having said that the point of a new cigar would fit. Do you know anything about the triangular tablet sign ? Neil

Sorry Neil, it's hard for me to make out the marks, because of the glare, and focus. Does your camera take good photos in low light, because, I think the light/glare behind the cutter, is causing the focus problem. Also, maybe if you could write down all that it says on the cutter, and neck, could help identify better. I have my computer hooked up to my 60" HDTV, so with good focus, I can really see small details/marks, a lot of times I'll just take a photo, put it on the computer, just so I can see things easier! May just be my eyes though! B^D Thanks for posting! :^)
