Carl Goldberg Invoice (4), with an impressive array of medals from his many World Fair participation, and a view of his refinery facilities. Part of the practice of winning these medals was to use them on the company letterhead and correspondence, as a status symbol and a mark of quality.

I have a small glass collection of Goldberg decorated satin and etched Art Nouveau glass pieces. My first love of Bohemian glass was an unknown to me at the time, green satin glass vase with etched silver strawberry plants by Goldberg. I still have it (3). You see here three styles, a colored enamel flower design mounted with gilt brass (1), a plain small soliflore satin glass vase with a heavily textured floral motif in a cream color (2), and one of my satin glass and silver overlay glass vases.
