I recently got this little brooch. This is an old sulphide brooch with a pretty blue background. I think the blue might be morpho butterfly wing or was made to look like it. Hope you enjoy!

Really love this beautiful cameo brooch, the textured blue background does look like butterfly wings, and such a pretty image of a girl playing the flute, just lovely MrsT

Very nice brooch. I own a similar one that I recently posted. After examining mine and comparing it with my morpho butterfly wings jewelry I am pretty sure these are not. I think they are made to imitate the real thing and I think its metall foil of some sort. They are still nice though.
