Visited family near Frank Lloyd Wright's Richland Center, Wisconson last week. My nephew has a wonderful farm nearby. I found this lovely beat-up celluloid bracelet at a junkstore for a buck....I'll spend more for replacement rhinestones :-) The "pendant" was probably a comb or a nail file....that was included in the lot I just posted. Last is a view from his porch. It was so wonderful there!!!!

The pendant is neat-really like the design on it. Nice find with the bracelet too ;)
Thank you MrsT for your nice comment. I love aqua and cream together :-)
Thank you Gudrun for your love :-)
Beautiful aqua stones in both bangle & pendant, they're a great set. Your nephew has a splendid peaceful view, I've visited relatives in Wisconsin, the air is so clean there & it's beautiful country
Thanks Jenni, I wore the bracelet all week - who knows how many rhinestones I knocked out. I love WI - I would move there except...I can't take snow anymore....XOXO, Mary
Thanks for your love Fort :-)
Nice pieces you found!! Lovely place.
That view completely upstages the jewelry! However, having said that, the bracelet is a rare and wonderful find! Very cool. The "pendant" looks like at one time it may have housed a little brush or fan....I wonder. It would be cool to repurpose it somehow.
Valentino I have had a look around and I think your "pendant" is instead a "aide memoire case" in wish victorian (and maybe later) women would have. It would hold a bound notebook & chain attached pencil. I will try to copy the link to you or send it my mail :)

Cream & Aqua are gorgeous together!
What a score! So much fun when that happens...
Beautiful Country...is that early morning mist?
I so miss looking at trees & woodpeckers outside my kitchen window :(
Thank you all for so many nice comments. My vacation in Wisconsin was fun because of my family and wonderful WI history. You will be subjected to other photos. FOR EXAMPLE, 2 miles from where my nephew's farm is located is a Czech town called Yuba, pop 91. In the 30's the founders had stills and there were a lot of high dollar ($10,000!!!) prohibition arrests. Also interesting is that they shipped in people in the ...20s/30s? so that they could be zoned a town so they would have a school. I believe in the 1930's there were 150 residents. How dang cool is that???
I think thats the 'princess' version of the bracelet !~
Thank you Andrea for your comment - I was so happy to get away from Los Angeles - I love it very much for the past 35 years, but I won't retire here which makes me sad. Sorry I got off the subject! I'm going to wear this as a pendant.
Elisabeth! From the link you provided I believe it was a "aide memoire case". I can see a thick celluloid piece broken off inside. It makes a beautiful pendant and I am guessing 1920's. Sorry it's taken me awhile to respond. There was a lot of St. Regis drama when I got back from vacation.
Eileen - yes it was a cool morning from the porch of my relative's farm house. 2 minutes later the rooster and my 3 yr. old niece broke the tranquil mood. Coffee was brewing inside, all was well! And, yes there was a woodpecker that we couldn't spot.
Phil - thanks for your comment! It looks like a tiara design doesn't it? Anyway, a very sweet bracelet from my travels. :-)
