    (185 items)

Hope everyone's summer is going well. Lots of sad news to deal with around the world and close to home.
This past weekend was an estate sale that had plenty of vintage Coke items. Unfortunately I was not able to attend, but VERY fortunately a fellow collector offered to bid on a few items I was looking at. This auction had no buyers premium, but was attended by many collectors and dealers.
The one main item I wanted (and only one I won) is seen here. There was a red one that went for over $100 more than I paid for this. I feel I got the better one and at a good deal which was below the guide price and in cdn dollars of course.
This display I believe was used for either bottle returns, or for individual bottle sales where customers could by one or two bottles or more that did not need to be cold to consume right away. If someone can confirm in the comments, that would be great (DN?).
I was even happier to see that the embossed logo and red paint on the wood crate don't line up well. Factory error perhaps?
Lastly, I believe this crate was made for this use as 99% of the crates I've seen and all that I own have "Drink" parallel with the crate edges and not on an angle as seen here. Again, comments for clarification are welcome.
    Thanks for checking it out!

Thanks purvis! Until this auction, either have I. Love the yellow Coke stuff for some reason.

Super piece CK! The case may have been repainted at some point, but the metal stand is the real prize, and the whole package looks original. I'd say it's a display stand, likely surrounded by cases of 6 cartons. Any collector would be proud to have it.

Thanks DN! It's fun to imagine how it was used, and all make sense. Very proud to have this part of my collection.
