Thanks to billretirecoll for mentioning the book "Glass Animals" second edition by Dick and Pat Spencer! I found a hardback copy of the book on Amazon for $4.35 so added it to my book pile. It is a very good book with lots of images and answered some other questions for me, even though I've just flipped through it. This table flower is pictured on page 140. The sad news is that my Panasonic Lumix camera died suddenly yesterday after 5 1/2 years of service, and $300 for a new camera is not in my budget, so my CW wings have been clipped indefinitely as I am now retired and my toy money is devoted to other types of toys. Nice to go out with a win, though! Finding the maker of this leaf has been gnawing at me.

It looks like things may have changed since 2015 when I bought my Lumix and there seem to be some under $50 cameras now that may work for doing CW posts. I ordered one ($38.99) and will post an update after I try it out.

After fondling, um, closely examining it for awhile, I noticed there appears to be a flattened oval with and X or K in it at the back of the leaf above the stem.
