This is one of my favorites paintings, it’s oil on board 11 1/2 x 15 1/2. It’s painted by Gene Myers. It’s titled “The Red Dog”. . Regarding this painting, I love how dark and sad it seems. But at the same time the girl seems strong and ready to protect her dear red dog.
