    This I found ,is a Fenton handpainted by Brenda Jo Bradford . I love the fenton 's but I haven't been able to find A picture of this one. So really not sure what it is actually called but it is a fenton Any One know? Sorry I've tried and tried and I cannot get the picture straight no matter how I photograph it on this . Anybody know what the trick is ?

      Well I did find violets in the snow went through looking through a lot of them but still I have no idea what this peace is . But it definitely belongs to the violet in the snow category

      this is the same basic planter design as Fenton's Patriots; only the medallions are plain where the medallions are painted with the violets. Fenton produced the 'Violets In The Snow' painted motif from the late 1960s thru the mid 1980s.

      Thank you tall cakes, i'm not sure if it's a candy dish or a planter box I have not seen a picture of this particular item anywhere

      Fenton called this form a planter in their 1976 catalog; tho' the form may lend itself to multiple purposes...

      just noticed that there is also a covered footed candy in the same 1976 catalog with a similar violets in the snow medallion motif.
