The metal face is copper toned but does not have any patina indicating it is either not real copper and/or authentically vintage. I’m not sure which. Still, I fell in love with this ring mostly for its band made of some type of white shell/marble material, (show in picture #3. All the rhinestones are intact. Is it vintage costume or did my eyes deceive me?

Could the white shell/marble material be Bakelite? Idk if Bakelite was a common material used in costume jewelry...and if it is Bakelite would that help to put a date the piece? As a novice collector I’d really appreciate any input. Thanks so much!
