He said he would play anything except Alice’s restaurant
Remember you can get anything at Alice’s restaurant
Excluding Alice
They got me in here for littering and creating a nuisance
We smoked all night and that’s what we want to hear

There was a Restaurant in Brattleboro, VT, on Elliott Street named Alice's Restaurant during the late 70's. It was a rowdy place after closing time. The food was greasy and the waitresses were ugly as sin. But it was a good pick up spot after closing time. All the girls get prettier at closing time.

And we stop someplace in New England
Somebody told us a good place to eat is Alice’s restaurant
Only got the name wrong
The name of the place was ELLISES restaurant
Vynil33rpm I believe the place you are speaking of is in Wilmington, Vermont. That is about a half hour east of Brattleboro.
