With the very recent news reports that Aretha Franklin is seriously ill, I offer my humble tribute along with encouragement to all y'all music lovers to add your own...
This item is nothing more than my everyday copy of her "Greatest Hits (1980-1994)" album/compact disc, ARISTA #07822-18722-2. It usually lives in the backseat pocket of my truck (for easy access during long road trips if the radio runs out) so was the easy thing to grab for a quick couple photos at this moment...I'm sure I've got numerous other Aretha LP's downstairs in the boxes of real records too, but those would take too much time to dig out for photos...

Great tribute to a great singer. So sad that we'll never hear her again.
Gotta pop this back up to the top of the list just now, for no other reason than there's currently a star-studded 'tribute' special in honor of ARETHA airing on ABC-TV at the moment. The world is certainly now lesser without her presence, though we all remain touched in *so many ways* due to her inspiration...
Thomas, I'm most certain that you'll enjoy the show once you get back home...travel SAFELY until then?!! :-)
