This is another design by D & E that came in several colors. This 4 inch brooch has forest and light green slim navettes on the top tier with tiny rs running down the middle. The bottom tier has green and pale yellow AB chatons with larger navettes on each end. Tiny rs making up the stem. And when you turn it over, you see the familiar goldtone setting. Look at all the figure 8's. Good as a signature when verifying D & E jewelry. My photography is poor, clicking on a photo shows the beauty much better. Another work of art from DeLizza & Elster. Earrings to match. Last photo is my Tortoiseshell kitty, Mocha....
ENJOY!
Both are beautiful sets, great pieces !~
Thank you Phil,
Coming from one who collects only the very best Sherman, it makes my day when you comment on my D & E!!
Thank you Mary!
I so appreciate your words, the design is pretty cool.
I like that they're long- 4 inches!

Thank you foseatme...
I so appreciate you taking time and commenting on my post!
Thank you lentilka11'
The brooches are beautiful...
but my Mocha "is the fairest of all"!
Absolutely gorgeous! Pardon my ignorance (I am new to collecting) but what do you mean when referring to figure 8's?
Thank you for sharing these beautiful pieces.
Hi Glamorous!
Welcome to CW!
I collect D & E jewelry. They never signed a piece, ever!
So one has to learn the construction methods of the designer to validate your piece is authentic. D & E had another company make "figure 8's" which is soldering 1-2-3 rhinestones together, which saved time for the maker. When you look on the back of the brooch--- see all the rs soldered together? Those are figure 8's, and in validating D & E pieces, they are as good as a signature.
And no question is ignorant, that is what we are all here for... To love our jewelry and to learn. I learn something new all the time here on CW. It's a wonderful site with so many wonderful people. Again...WELCOME!

Thank you so much, Eileen, for answering my question. I apologize that I didn't see it earlier, which is why I am just now replying with thanks. I am fascinated with this site and everyone has been so welcoming and friendly. I can't wait to study more about D & E, they've been the hardest to learn for me. I see so many listings nowadays that claim to be unsigned D & E, and it always makes my head spin haha. Thank you again for sharing with me.

Yes, be careful! If I had a buck for every listing claiming to be D & E, but wasn't I would be a rich woman. lol
Need help identifying a piece, I would be happy to help! :)
Sherman made a lot of leaf sets and like yours here, they are so incredibly gorgeous, you would never walk on a piece like this, but I don't trust your Guard here, best under glass !~
