Old family child's chair passed down, supposed came from England 1800's. Not sure I believe the story but I love it!

Yes, what ever it once was it has been reworked by a novice who had no idea what he was doing. Look at the back spindles....everything is a terrible mismatch. If the chair is solid and you don't fall out of it keep it Someone did their best but it won't impress anyone looking to buy a chair. Although I have seen stranger things sell.
