This Otto Thamm designed piece from c. 1901-03 is 16 cm tall and 12 cm wide at the waist. It is in the less common colour combination of pulled thin red stripes over a base of silver yellow crumb melts on a clear ground with polished pontil. Examples of this decor can be seen in the Passau Glass Museum's Fritz Heckert room in cabinets 27 and 28. One of my favourite vases.
