A tri-lobed vase 12 cm by 12 cm designed by Otto Thamm c 1901. It is wrapped in reddish thread and warped to an irregular wave pattern with yellowish silver crumb melts on colourless glass. It has a well polished pontil mark, a petrolly irridescence and three 'thumb-print' indentations at the sides. An example of this decor can be found in S. Zelasco's book on Fritz Heckert on Page 189, Item 309. A lot of craftsmanship went into the making of this piece !
