    The latest find on the latest trip to my local charity shop is this rather nice little camel statue- and being the owner of two camels already (both dromedaries) this one is the first of the Bactrian kind AND made of metal. I believe the metal is pewter because of it's nice sheen and it's rather considerable weight- the detailing on his face and long neck hair is really nice too! Or do camels have manes?
    Whatever the case I love him for his unusual and realistic pose and look- while the other camels are nice carvings too he's the one that looks the most realistic! His name's Lionel by the way, the other two are Leonard and Leroy...

      Bobby725- I was thinking of that song too- and the one 'I went through the desert on a horse with no name!' even though there camels not horses!
