    These 13 buttons were found in a coffee can at an estate sell. My research showed they were civil war navy buttons and they were on the union side. Any Questions please feel free to ask, thank you!

      The backs are key to identifying 19th century buttons.

      All of the backs on these look to be 20th century construction.

      Agreed they are modern reproduction buttons most likely used on a reenactors uniform.
