Hi everyone!!
Sorry for the absence over the past few months. It's been an incredibly busy and challenging summer for me. Thought I'd take a quick moment and make a quick post.
Here is a set of bronze Great Danes that my wife picked up for me this summer. They're nicely detailed and they're solid bronze. The patinization appears to have been chemically created, but nicely done. The sitting dog stands 8 3/4" tall and 7" front to back. The lying down dog is 10 1/2" long and 5 1/2" tall. They each weigh about 1 1/2 lbs.

That's great to hear! Our little Carly has became a Daddy's girl. But, I'll have to admit that I've spoiled her quite a bit.
Such a great set! Both dogs seem both relaxed and regal at the same time, really nicely done!
Aw, that's lovely Scott! How can we not spoil them when they come for cuddles and look at us with those big soft eyes:)) They do give us a lot of happiness don't they:)

I found this while looking for information on the standing Great Dane in your photos ~ I have one that is identical ~ I bought it for more than I probably should have 23 years ago ~ at an antique mall in Syracuse, New York ~ do you have any more information regarding this piece? It has been a loved object in our home for years ~ I treasure it because I had a Dane growing up as a young child

These date back to the 1920’s and I believe they are French made. Hope this helps.
