These were some finds at the Flea Market recently, I got the Scouting Pins, as a group, that the Seller had found for me. On the back of the Boy Scout Emblem Pin, and the Be Prepared Pin, is a Patent date of 1911, but I don't know if they're that old though. There's also other Cub Scout Pins. There's a Girl Scout Emblem Pin, and a Brownie Emblem pin, and very small Brownie with a chain connected.
For a little interest I added three late 1800's-early 1900's Cow Girl Post Cards, printed in Germany, with Domestic One Cent Foreign Two Cents, in the Postage spot, a Mack Trucks Bull Dog hood ornament, what I think is a Andy Anderson designed pottery Dog figurine, and two Made In China stuffed embroidered cloth Horses, with fur manes.

Very nice scout pin collection, as well as the adorable standing animals

The 1911 patent date remained on the pins at least up into the 1960's

Thank you Jenni, yeah it was an instant collection! :^D

Hey flashlarue, thanks for that information, because the pins all came in one collection, with no information, I didn't know! :^D

Thank you for the love you gave, AdeleC, Vynil33rpm, and Jenni, it's always good to get! :^)

The eagle pin is Tenderfoot and the Be Prepared is Scout 2nd class. These are often worn by the parents of the scout. They seem to end up on the merit badge sash too. Cub scout pins are worn on the cub scout uniform.

Thanks for your comment Brian, the last time that I wore a Scout uniform, was over 50years ago, but I still know how to tie a dress necktie, because I learned it from the Boy Scout Book! :^D>----

Thank you both for the love, Pete, and Brian too! :^)

Might check the following on your dog figurine: Chic, LePere or Grindley potteries
    7. billretirecoll billretirecoll, 6 years ago
Thank you art.pottery, it's definitely Grindley Artcraft pottery, from Sebring Ohio, but I wonder if it was designed by Andy Anderson, because it looks so much like the Hungry Horse Figurine, and others from Brayton Laguna Pottery, Laguna Beach, Calif. that were designed by Anderson. Here's a link to the Sebring Historical Society, that has a Catalog, and Figurines from Grindley Artcraft Pottery:

If you scroll to the bottom, the "Beagle Dog" figurine can be seen! :^D Thanks for looking! :^)

Thank you so much my #1 Mary, when I found them it was dark-thirty, but they were cheap enough, and I thought they might be older, but when I got them home I saw the red MADE IN CHINA, on their bellies, and was alright with them being just cute! :^D The Postcards are like "new-old stock", I saw several on line with different scenes, but these were the only ones the seller had, even though he thought he had more. Western scenes, made in Germany, for the USA.
Thanks for the love you gave also, my #1 Mary! :^)
