Been busy today trying to prepare for hurricane Florence. We are a couple hours from coast, but will get really bad winds, power outages etc. Anyway, I received these brooches today. They look very similar, the clasp, similar or same markings. I tried to find my little macro lens, but could not. I don’t know if you will be able to see markings very well, but maybe someone will recognize. Thanks for looking.

Pretty, is that amethyst? Unfortunately, I can’t see the maker’s mark.
Both so lovely, I esp like the bar brooch. Mark looks like capital letters M,K then more, hope someone can recognize

Jenni, I thought so too with the MK. I need to find my lens-marking is so small. Appreciate you stopping by as always.
Ken, I had wondered that too. When I was trying get a pic of mark, most looked like MK and something and a couple looked like 14 k and something. When I find my lens, will update. Thanks so much for the comment

A helpful hint that sometimes works for me in seeing tiny things: take a photo with best camera settings the use windows image viewer on your laptop or pc...I have seen alot of things that were impossible otherwise!! Im going to go try this on your piece and brb! Btw- luck there's even marks! I have so many lovely/ beautiful items unmarked. Which yes I know markings don't always equal value!! Or beauty!
