Being from New England, i had to buy this when i saw it for sale at my favorite segunda in Berkeley the other day. It's a Victorian boot scraper - to install in the top step of the front steps to a house. this is an especially nice one.

I know Pete, one day my wife and I will try and make it over there. We just hang around here too much! :^D Keith, the guy from the Flea Market that lives in Berkeley, said that he'll be having another sale soon. I'll try to let you know when, but I usually don't find out until the Saturday before, Sunday, when he's having it. It's across the street from Claremont Resort entrance! :^)
