This 1 1-2" curvy bird brooch has a pink rhinestone body, blue eye & sculpted goldtone wings. A popular bird design by Lisner (1904-1985) that also came in silvertone

Thank you Eileen, Lisner did some pretty good figurals & rhinestone brooches but like with most designers they had many dated pieces that haven't aged well, however this curled bird was a popular design & of course being a bird lover it appealed to me! Appreciate the nice compliments
Lauren it may very well be a dove, that's a good guess! The only bird image I try to avoid is the peacock, although they're beautiful my family always felt they were unlucky (wings have the evil eye lol), so I don't go out of my way to own one, figuring who needs bad luck right! My brooches are not all tops, I have drawers full of seasonal & various types that I have tried to take pix of but found they are not good subjects, & I find brooches in stores, mall stands & lately mostly online. Right Phil, the bird looks like it's doing backflips lol! I try to move pieces around to get different angles, as it turns out I like pic #3 too which looks like a Vegas showgirl's feather headdress :) Always appreciate your excellent comments and perspective
