My wife bought this vase at a junk shop on a recent trip to France. The spatter colours are red, yellow, blue and purple encased in a slightly opaque inner and outer layer, no pontil, cold-cut top and 28 cm high. It may be Czech from the inter-war period but I would appreciate any suggestions as to attribution from CW readers. Thanks.
I would add that the vase is quite light in weight.

Until I learn better I have a feeling this (and others like it) are post-WWII Czechoslovakian products that are trickling out from behind where the Iron Curtain used to be.
The base seems to have quite a bit of wear, a satin finish and spatter om clear, plus a magenta spatter on top of bottom area..... would inspire an interwar glass vase to me. We have several here on CW in the anonymous pile, till we find more in this shape. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for comments. In addition to satin finish and wear to base there is still quite a lot of dirt encrusted on the bottom inside. Although not a sure indicator of age (even relatively modern pieces can get filthy), it adds to the 'inter-war feel' about it.
Very nice vase Bambus, I have a similar of satin glass pair few years ago, I sold at auction, I was quite amaze they bring so much interest and a very fair amount of cash, maybe someone know something I didn’t at the time.

Nice, these are of great interest to me lately... satin glass with a Ruckl feel, quite thin with no base color, the rim has a rough finish in grinding, the tones of the confetti are trasnsluscent, the crystal glass shows through in places and the shapes have a strong Deco influence- sorry for the rambling I will soon have things like this to the bone pile
Alan, I followed the link within comment 6 on your 2016 post and see that the 'made in Czechoslovakia' pair have a similar purple/magenta spatter in lower area. My wife's vase may well be one of 'the usual suspects' !
Jericho, thanks for helpful description. I thought Ruckl but couldn't find a known shape remotely like this one...
That's my problem too, I have a compatible series of Ruckl satin spatter glass in vases and jars, but nothing like this. Does not meant it isn't, but certainly need more pertinent info when the spatter is different and the shape is different.
Yeah, I want to say this taboo word “RUCKL”, but restrict my excitement.;-)

So, I am actually really curious. If the shape is not known or recognized, the spatter is not a recognized spatter, and we know that a wide variety of companies made satin glass... What exactly would lead one to suspect Rückl as a maker for an unknown piece of glass? Couldn't it just as easily be an unknown company, or not even Czech?
Welzebub - I agree; but we just love to try and categorise things (????).
I agree.... but the strong inclination to categorize things leads many collectors down the road to unfounded attributions. IMHO, we are much better off with unknown production, than we are with incorrect attributions. Unknown glass is just that... incorrectly attributed glass leads to compounded errors.....
