    Hello,

I’ve recently inherited a ring from my grandmother who purchased it in Ukraine in the 70/80s. I’ve been trying to understand the hallmark, however alll I know is that it’s 14k gold. The hallmark reads 95-6T?-535 in three seperate rectangles. (I may be wrong on the 535 as it’s difficult To read) but it’s the numbers for 14k gold I was told). Any insights or information on this would be greatly appreciated!

Beautiful ring, love the faceted ruby stone and ridged gold setting. The engraved numbers are most probably the degree of gold in Russian sequence, as it certainly appears to be authentic gold

The letter after "T" is a Russian letter "Yu", CW doesn't allow to type Russian letters.
It's a classic Soviet era ring. The massive pink gold rings with precious stones were popular back then. Gold was an indication of a relative wealth/social status, and it was about the only meaningful investment that Soviets had an option of. The more gold jewelry you had, there better well-off you were.
