Here is a NOS (new old stock) marble shooting toy gun. The function of the Mar-bo-Gun was to load marbles into the top, snap the trigger and shoot the marbles. It is made of transparent red plastic, so the marbles could be seen inside the chamber. The toys were made by the Cardinal Rubber Company of Barberton, OH. The Mar-Bo-Gun measures 8” long 4 5/8” high and 7/8” wide. Apparently someone found a bunch of these in storage, brand new from the 1950s. Some include the original display card that the toy was mounted to for hanging on a sales rack. I have not bent the tabs on my card to attach the toy to. The card shows how the gun was meant to be held. They are too fragile to play with, due to their age, but a neat collectible for marble collectors.

This is a great find. I don't how much force it had, but I'll bet it would sting if you took a head shot from a marble!
