This 2 1-2" leaf style brooch is described in the Napier book by Melinda Lewis as "c. 1960s gold-plated glass foliate design with tourmaline (I say two tone green) colored foiled back crystal stone navettes and filigree leaves." Paired with 1-2" clip back earrings that appear to have a winged bee design, all marked Napier, a huge costume design firm founded @1915

This is lovely- bright green fronds that look as though they should be cascading down the wall of a continental villa or jungle waterfall!

Thanx Ken for the super compliments, I agree the two tone green is a nice touch - I googled tourmaline, it's like a deep off color green, I guess the darker shade could be called that (my aunt had a tourmaline mink jacket but that was beige!). About the collections, I read on another post they are limiting them to 100 now or perhaps they are only leaving existing collection posts up, things are always changing here i.e. no more email comment notifications - what I usually do now to check if something has already been posted, I put a name like Trifari brooch/pin in the search box, and hope it is a complete list (not always)
