We still use the similar Antillian Guilder/Florin since St. Maarten is not included in the EU along with The Nederlands. The French partie de St. Martin uses euros & both sides use the U.S. $, so we use 3 currencies. Doesn't seem to slow check-out. Sometimes feel like we should have 3 front pockets for change. LOL ! (We call € change urinates or urinals)
