My first really fabulous op shop find in my new home...a set of 5 Art Deco spun glass tulips for the grand sum of $4!
Perfect for Spring & right at home in the garden, posed in a Victorian uranium glass vase with an applied flower.
I have always wanted some of these tulips, after having seen ones like them in an antiques shop many years ago, but they were SO expensive. What a pleasant surprise to find some of my own at long last, in soft mauve & crisp white that complements the pastel tones of Victorian art glass.
From what I have seen, these tulips were made in Germany, circa 1920s.
