Finally picked up a Hubley #500 Tractor Trailer set. This set was offered in 1948-49 in red with the '48 GMC cab over and a trailer with 5 stake side sections and some logs. It was called the Three in One; stake side, log truck and flatbed. This was first issue in the 500 series. The tractor/trailer was offered in '50 with logs/no stake sides as Lumber Truck #502 and the stake sides/no logs #503 Stake Truck in orange.
It's hard to find all 5 of the stake sections loose on these. I got this at a pretty good price, you usually have to buy one in the box to get all of the sections. I already had a flatbed with some logs but no stake sides. I recently switched the cab from the dump truck to the log flatbed I already had. I may work on restoring the stakeside next, since I already have a cab done and flatbeds are easier to work on. I need to clear out my restore backlog jam.

Nice piece. Yes usually something like this is missing the small parts.
