Was it a fair day? Nope! It was a Fun day, at the "Faire" the Northern California Renaissance Pleasure Faire! :^D We went on the 3rd Weekend of the Ren-Faire, on Saturday September 29th, 2018, at Casa de Fruta, in Hollister, California. Normally we go on the opening day of the Faire, because they have discounts, for every two tickets bought, and we go with a group of us together, so a discount on the $28. ticket price, is nice to get, but this year we couldn't work it out, so went when all of us could go! :^D We always go in Costume, and bring extra things, for people to wear, or use with their Costume, it makes it nice! After-all "All the Faire's a Stage", and it's fun to "Play Faire"! "Sweet William" knows! ([:^{D>
The first pic. is from L to R, is our older Son, then younger Son, Me, and our Nephew. Our older Son is holding up a Swordfish, sword, that I found at the Flea Market, last year.

Last pic. is my Wife, and I, at home before we left for the Day(She didn't want me to wear the big Jester's Hat! Guess who won?) Not me! :^D
There were eight more of our friends that joined us, on this Day at the Faire, and enjoyed the Day with us! :^D

Love it! we have a 'Renaissance Festival' here in the Holly Michigan area also every year, and I try to make it every time. Sometimes we have costumes sometimes not. Great time!

Yes it was Kevin(vetraio), and the weather was great too, it can get a little hot in Hollister this time of year, but was only mid 70's f. Thank you so much for your comment! :^)
Nice Rich, we only go to this Ren-Faire, but I've seen a lot of the different places that they're held on line. Thanks for your comment, I'm glad you enjoy it too! :^)
keramikos, we loved it there at Black Point, I would normally loose count, of the Guinness' I had, by the time we got to the Y, but that was before Wife and Kids! &:^} As I remember, there was other things happening, on the Hill, not just drinking Guinness! Nice to hear from someone who's been to Black Point too! Thanks! :^)

If CA ever secedes, I hope this isn't what is depended on as CDF (California Defense Force) !! LOL !! Our SXMDF (St. Maarten Defense Force meets every nite at The Soggy Dollar, and we discuss military tactics, if ever invaded by St. Barths, Anguilla, St. Kitts etc.. Your CDF is a much better looking unit (believe it or not), but would surrender immediately when they see that we have Heineken & Corona instead of Guiness .

Yes you're right Brian, there's no forcing them, they were born to it! Even my Mother would join with us at Faire, in Costume too, and was ready to go anytime we went. My Sisters, and their children, went a few times at Black Point, also, and always had a good time, in Costume, or not! :^)
