Help needed identifying this jar.
It is totally unmarked except for the size (1Ltr) and the number 1930.
I'm guessing the numbers are the Patent date. Also assuming it's French, but not 100% sure about that.
It's 8ins tall. 12+1/2ins round the widest part, 10ins round the neck section. I think it's hand blown into a mold as there are a few air bubbles. The mold seam goes as far as the indent for the closure and is very thick and stands out from the glass. Above this is a much finer - almost invisible - seam mark that is 1/4 turn further round the neck.
If possible I would like to know
1) Is it a Patent Date?
2) Is it French? How can I tell?
3) Is it possible to find out which region it was made in?
