Hoping to learn something about this 9-sided hanging lamp my parents owned. It has a bird motif in the ironwork, and another ornate area at the top. You can see "PH" on the bird's breast in the third photo.

not sure where or how that listing came up with the Poul Hennington connection to this lamp. This looks more like a craftsman/mission design, whereas he is known for his modernism design.

Go with what Tallcakes said . I guess the internet has used his name on many slag glass lamps so I am confused but tallcakes knows glass :-)
not saying necessarily it isn't the same PH but a few online auctions seems a bit insufficient when his historically confirmed designs are ALL modernism. Without some sort of specific attribution I can't make the connection...

I suppose it's way to late to get in on this conversation, but I was searching for info on a shade I have exactly like this one posted. Each swallow on this shade has the initials P H stamped on them. I am trying to find out if this has any value. If any body can shed some light on this issue I would appreciate it
been a while since one has rolled around. Taking another look in a different manner I'm finding Paul Harmon Lamp MFG - OLNEY. ILL. comes up with marked parts on an "End Of Trail" slag glass lamp.

The reproductions were made by Paul Harmon Mfg of Olney, Illinois between 1950 to 1980 to imitate 1915 to 1920's glass. Look on the inside of the shade and you might find this mark. (not all were marked).
