    Unknown, but signed symbolist vase in matte glaze on stoneware body. I would appreciate any detective work on this one. I tried to highlight and isolate the signature, which appears to indicate a first name ending in "ien" and a last name starting with "D" and ending in "s." The last name (or firm) appears to have 6 letters (i.e., "Dxxxxs"). There may even be faint painted marks underneath the signature. Dimensions: 7"(H) x 5.2"(W).

      I spent the best part of a day looking for ceramic artists with surnames beginning with D, but no luck. I just found a site called, where you can search artists by name . Will send a link below, you might find something
