When my Aunt passed away in 1993 after the will was read and all the valuables were distributed we all went back to the house to clean out what was left. I always found the little latex rubber monsters (I have not taken photos of them) that came free in the soap (I think), and this Mouse that she always kept on a table. No one seems to want these things so I boxed up a bunch of rubber monsters, little mini glass type animals and this Latex Rubber mouse. I had no clue at the time, but found on his bottom it was stamped 1964 Ed Sullivan. I later found this was a little mouse that was on his show. I have looked for another one like all over the internet and can't find one. Can anyone type what this would be for.

Hey Pete I think it was a Bathtub Toy for Children, or just a cute Toy for a Toybox! We always loved it when Topo Gigo was on The Ed Sullivan Show, talking to Ed in his cute little voice, and then a snuggle for him at the end of his time on the show! Thanks for posting! :^)

Topo Gigio was the cutest mouse puppet with his enormous ears and shy demeanor, his famous line on the Sullivan show was "Eddie, kiss me goodnight" wearing his adorable little PJs. Kids everywhere loved him, including me! Thanks for a sweet memory

I remember seeing these in the 70s. They were a bit sticky and there were several figures. I had an alligator version of this.
