From last Sunday's Rose Bowl. It was my smallest haul in quantity but my largest in size. Go figure.
Got this for the low low price of $1. It is something I have not seen before and seemed interesting so I bought it. It is a watercolor paint tin like the type used at grade school made by Milton Bradley. Has Milton Bradley stamped into it. Made in Springfield, Mass. also. Has a strip of tape with the name of the original owner on it. Looks like there are a few extra paint tins in it.
According to the seller it is from the 1950s but I think it is earlier as embossed tins are more common in the 1930sand earlier. I am thinking 1930s but I could easily be mistaken.
My big item will be revealed soon, it took up almost all the space in my car which is a small SUV.

I remember using these paints in the early 60's. I liked that you could pull out the colours as you used or needed them.

I have seen these paint sets too. I can't wait to see your prized item from the Rose Bowl.

Thank you very much Thomas. A fine jest.

Thank you very much Phil. Looks like I could be mistaken about the age.

Thank you very much valentino97. The Marx service station was one the other next week I think.
