Well here is what I call the blue Lady. I have no idea if she is real or not but looks like something u would see on t-shirts at a art fair. Any info is welcomed.

This is from a series called The Blue Nudes, a series of paper collages done by the famous French artist, Henri Matisse in 1952. Matisse was an old man by then, and died only a couple years later. They were not paintings, but made out of cut out paper. They were considered some of the last important pieces of art he did, and I’ve seen prints of them elsewhere. Hope this helps

Thank u Chrisnp for the info on the blue nudes (lady). You also said u have seen them else where? On the net or out in the real world? Man finding this out is giving my father a reason to keep getting more junk now that I told him what u said about the paper collages. Parents got to love them. Thanks again for ur help.

I remember seeing them in an art history class in college, but very recently I saw prints of these hanging in a café in Seattle. Good luck with your father's collecting - I think that sort of thing tends to run in families!
