    This is one of several versions of Viking Art Glass's madonna. It is 5" high x 4" wide x 2" deep, with the original Viking label verso. It is a heavy piece of glass, well suited for use as a paperweight, but I am not sure that is its intended use. I use it as window glass. I find its construction a bit odd as the base is textured and the back is smooth.

      Gorgeous Viking madonna Kevin! I like the back photo that shows the flat side image, and orig label. Viking made several of this flat back type (I have a squirrel), they are often called paperweights or bookends. Great post!

      @Toyrebel - Thanks!

      @nutsabotas6 - Thanks! You are welcome!

      @Newfld - Thanks, Jenni! I think the face shows up best on the back image. I have a squirrel, too. I'll post it soon.

      Thanks for loving my Viking Glass madonna!

      Neat! This is the only one I have seen "in the wild". It was a thrift shop find from a few years ago.
