This 2 1-2" turtle brooch has a textured goldtone body with circular topaz rhinestones surrounding a faux tiger eye back, with golden amber eyes. By DeNicola (1957-1970)

Thanks Phil, it is in very good shape considering it has to be 40+ yrs old, there is definitely something to be said about prong set stones as nothing was lost here. Always appreciate your wonderful praise
Thank you so much dl, I'm really glad you found this eye catching as I do, it was on about 50 people's watch lists before I finally bought it, that always amazes me it wasn't grabbed up sooner, I'm lucky - I think because the brown coloring makes for a more realistic turtle

Do I wear my brooches, most of them yes, some are just too immense (my deco dragonfly) or heavyweight (anything with a huge glass stone, or heavy solid metal setting) to look good on my petite frame, I let my taller stepdaughter borrow those when she visits. Love all my jewelry tho, this turtle looks real pretty with most of my Fall outfits. Thanx very much for asking :)
