When it comes to bottles, alot of Us have posted a few..When it comes to our good Friend here at CW..It is all in the name...bottle-bud..Whom shows Us some of those lost and forgotten brands and the glass they put them in.
And then there's is the early History of common household items...Like 'Clorox' bleach..and two bleach bottles I do not know about....bottle-bud..Keep Hunting!

In the first pic, the larger, middle bottle, is a one gallon size, of which is etched on its upper base. The bottom is marked 2290...15...8, I want to say bleach, for it has a letter 'B', that is circled as well on the bottom, yet I have no idea.
The one to the right is another humdinger to Me. I first thought syrup bottle. It is marked on bottom with a Patent Design numeral of 107,302 And the digits 15..3..5 And what appears to be the letter 'S'.
On the left is distinctively a Clorox bottle, with name on the top side and on the bottom.
    Has Patent Design numeral 187399.
All three of these are finds in My woods.

    Thank You,

Thank You for the very nice comments Brunswick. A lot of the bottles I post were in my collection for many years, now that I am somewhat retired I have time to do the research and discover the history of the different bottlers from my area.
The bottles you posted today may be somewhat common but it is the joy of the hunt and finding something on your own property that's exciting!
Keep on the hunt and never stop collecting. I know I won't.

Hi Thomas, cool lot! I had the one on the right and the one on the left, both of which i found in the 1950-80s dumps. The one on the right is a Crisco Oil (i know this because the one I found had a cap that said that =) Unfortunately, i only found fragments from the 1-gallon Clorox (the one in the middle), either its massive bottoms or tops with handles. Oh well... They look great together!

I'm glad someone else loves old bottles like these. I have Clorox and Purex bottles with lids and many more that I got out of my parents' trash pile. Thank goodness my mom usually put the caps on before she threw jars and bottles away.
