I bought this from a auction then contacted the Gene Autry Museum in California.

Dear Marty,
I know you have been in communication with Karla Buhlman, President of Gene Autry Entertainment, regarding The Gene Autry “Six Shooter Watch.” After researching the matter we have the following information to share with you.
The Gene Autry “Six Shooter Watch” you have in your possession was a silent auction item at the 1997 Autry Museum Gala in honor of Gene Autry’s 90th birthday. We are not at liberty to give out the name of the individual who won the auction item nor the auction price paid as we treat such information with confidentiality which I am sure you can understand. There were two special Limited Edition watches created to celebrate Gene’s birthday and, at this point, we believe #1 is in the Autry Museum’s collection.
