I should like to know when this is from.
I got this at an auction. It says "Warranted Sole Leather" then has a few numbers as seen on the base. Metal casters. Brass sliding latches and lock. Black-painted steel trim to fasten the leather of the bag. Hemp(??) machine-sewn stitching.
I believe they call these "Doctor's bags", but I doubt they were used only by doctors.

Welp, I fixed it up to good structural integrity, moisturized the heck outta the leather to make it supple again, and am gonna use it as a carry-on for my 9-day trip to Washington state where I'm probably gonna be moving come May!
